Everythink was asked to imagine how to enable surgeons to take photos and videos during interventions without the need to hold a camera or smartphone by hand.

In today's life, recording important moments is an increasingly common practice, in the most diverse circumstances, whether they are family moments, with friends, our adventures on a trip, a landscape or a mere detail or curiosity we find out day-by-day. This ease of use brough this habit and, increasingly, this need, to work context, in several contexts.
It is now common for anyone, even at work, to record an image or video of a task or moment for future memory, to share with colleagues or for later analysis. The smartphone is perfect for this and is always at our hand.
In the operating room, during surgery, the context is no different, despite, of course, the limitations to handling smartphones. That's why SurgeonMate challenged Everythink to think about a solution to record what the surgeon's eyes are seeing.
The solution came in the form of goggles with an integrated camera and a microphone receiving voice commands for a totally hands-free experience.
SurgeonMate is a project focused on the development of products seeking to improve the performance of surgeons.
