Everythink attended the final event of the Mobilizing Agenda for Business Innovation in the Two-Wheeler Sector (AM2R), held on June 17th and 18th at the Águeda Arts Center, at the invitation of Polisport, the consortium's lead company. The initiative brought together companies, universities, technology centers, and public entities to present the results achieved over nearly five years of collaborative work in one of the largest innovation projects supported by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP). The AM2R Agenda involved dozens of partners with the goal of strengthening the competitiveness, sustainability, and innovation capacity of the Portuguese two-wheeler industry.
Although Everythink was not a formal member of the AM2R Agenda consortium, participating in the event proved to be an opportunity to closely follow the results obtained and revisit projects where we collaborated directly with some of the partners involved.
Throughout the various presentations and technology demonstrations, the technical quality, scale, and diversity of the national industry in this sector became evident, particularly in the field of soft mobility, which includes conventional bicycles, e-bikes, components, and accessories. The results presented confirm the ability of Portuguese companies to develop innovative, sustainable, and internationally competitive solutions, the fruit of collaboration between industry and the scientific system.
“Innovation gains real impact when it results from the collaboration of different skill sets and translates into concrete market solutions.”
For Everythink, moments like this are equally important as they allow us to track the technological evolution of the sectors in which we operate, strengthen relationships with partners, and identify new opportunities for collaboration in innovation and development projects.
The final presentation of the AM2R Agenda demonstrated that the investment made over the last few years has left a significant legacy for the Portuguese two-wheeler industry, consolidating Portugal as a European benchmark in a rapidly growing sector with an increasingly important role in sustainable mobility.
Quote
“It was particularly rewarding to recognize, among the results presented, projects in which Everythink collaborated. It is a sign that, even without being a formal part of the Agenda, we were able to contribute to initiatives that help strengthen one of the country's most innovative industrial sectors.”
